Lead Industrial Designer Matthew Sass is once again teaching a Studio Lab and an Advanced Studio Elective in the Design Department at Carnegie Mellon in spring 2023, building on his long-standing appointment as an Adjunct Faculty member at the university. These courses are designed to introduce degree-track undergraduate industrial design students to the latest CAD and prototyping technologies and processes.
In addition to covering traditional methods of integrating software, visual thinking, and 3D printing, students will engage in a variety of exercises and assignments to showcase their design skills. Matthew's course provides a valuable opportunity for aspiring industrial designers to learn from a seasoned expert in the field and gain practical knowledge that will prepare them for future success.
