Continuing a long standing tradition, on Sept 6, 2022, Carolynn Johnson, User Research Manager, and Jenn Scott, UX Designer, will be guest lecturing for the Swanson School of Engineering’s Medical Product Ideation class. Our lecture focuses on the benefits of engaging with users prior to and throughout the design cycle and with prototypes of various levels of fidelity. We also provide a case study demonstration of the benefits of user research and prototyping via the fall safety harness we designed, and lead the students through a paper prototyping exercise.
