Chris Stygar rejoins Daedalus

Daedalus is delighted to announce that Chris Stygar has rejoined us after a 7-year tenure as the 3D Lab Director at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design.

Chris originally joined Daedalus in 1990 as an Industrial Designer, and over his 21-year tenure with Daedalus, he expanded his repertoire to include User Interface and Experience Design. A practiced veteran of product development consultation, he has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Philips, McKesson, Honeywell, InterMetro, and Westinghouse. The majority of his projects have involved the design of technology for the healthcare, laboratory, and safety industries, which have thus far earned him 9 patents with the USPTO.

Chris’ goal as a designer and consultant is to always thoughtfully collaborate with clients and their customers to create solutions that instill pride and satisfaction in both manufacture and use. His specialties include laboratory and safety equipment, interaction design, embedded interface design and specification, and product use mapping.
