Human Factors and Research Manager, Carolynn Johnson, was recently invited to reprise an abbreviated version of her TEDxErie talk, The (Ungraceful) Art of Aging, at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation’s Senior Connections: A Charrette to Create Geriatric Friendly Health Practices.
The charrette was a gathering of practitioners and thought leaders from various disciplines and industries that explored potential practice-based interventions for age-friendly healthcare. Carolynn's presentation focused on educating those in attendance about the changes that our senses undergo as we age, such as how colors, particularly those from the green-blue end of the spectrum, fade, as illustrated in the image above.
