Gas and Oxygen Monitor

Our engineering and industrial design team worked closely with our client to complete the detailing of the injection molded plastic housing. Challenges included minimizing the overall size while fitting in the large display, microprocessor controller, and pair of combustible gas sensors. In addition, the housing had to meet stringent safety regulations, such as surviving a two-meter drop onto concrete without damage or interruption of gas sensing and protection from dust and water (IP64). Our completed product design consists of an optional remote sampling pump that can draw up to 100 ft (10 m) away, an interchangeable alkaline battery pack, and a charging cradle.
